Milestone – My Pot of Gold
Second-graders explored the kind of givers God calls us to be in the Milestone, My Pot of Gold, on March 15. “As a parent, I really appreciated how it redirected my kids how to look at money,” says Stephanie Mesimer, mom to Landon and Luke. The group learned about the share-save-spend model, and parents and children each discussed how much of $10 they received to share, save and spend. Stewardship, Stephanie says, “is just a conversation I had never had with my kids. It really opened up that conversation about sharing, and it created a new habit for us.”
