Before You Arrive

Where do I park?

Our campus spreads across two city blocks in downtown Salisbury. The worship spaces and offices are most easily accessed by the main entrance off Innes Street. Entrances to the CDC and Kindergarten are off Jackson Street.

Additional parking is available in larger lots across Council street. The Jackson street and Child Development Center lots are especially convenient for those worshipping at 9:27 am worship. On Sundays, the lot between the Sanctuary building and offices is reserved for Handicap parking. Bike racks are available outside Peeler Hall and at the Jackson St. Entrance.

Handicap accessibility?

Elevators

There are two elevators on campus. The first is for easier access to the sanctuary. It is located under the covered driveway towards the rear of the sanctuary building. Another elevator is located in the Faith Center to more easily navigate the buildings upper and lower levels.

Handicapped parking

Handicapped parking is available throughout campus. On Sunday mornings, the lot between the sanctuary and education buildings is reserved for the elderly and those with physical limitations.

Shuttle from Trinity Oaks

We provide a bus shuttle to and from Trinity Oaks every Sunday morning and for special events. The shuttle leaves at 10:30 am and returns around 12:15 pm.

Bike racks are available outside Peeler Hall and at the Jackson St. Entrance.

I have older kids. Where will they go?

On Sundays, our 3rd through 12th graders, are a part of our regular part of our worship.

On most Sunday evenings during the school year, our student ministry meets 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Our youth also participate in trips, confirmation, Random Acts of Kindness (RAKs), Summer Mission Opportunities, and much more.

What do you believe?

We believe in a God of love who created us to live in loving relationship with God, one another, and the world God made.

Aside from Sunday Worship, how else can I get connected?

At St. John’s there are a number of ways to get connected. Here are a few entry points.

Get connected through small group studies, book studies, Men's Ministry, GIFT Women's Ministry, Classes, Senior Ministry, and more!

Next Steps?

We are glad you have been joining St. John's in worship. We hope you’ve found it to be a warm and hospitable place to be. That’s certainly our goal!

One way to take a next step at St. John's is by attending one of our Encounter Classes. In the class, you’ll learn about the congregation’s purpose, various ministries, and our great desire to help you connect faith and life. In addition, we’ll share basic information about the Lutheran church, including its many ministries around the world … and, of course, leave time for your own questions.
