The St. John’s Benevolent Foundation exists to bridge the gap between our community’s abundant resources and the ministry needs that surround us.

Contributors to the Foundation join in a remarkable mission that extends the congregation’s outreach far beyond their lifetime.

History

The Foundation began in 1979 with a gift of $156,000 from the estate of DJ Mahaley. Since that time and with the generosity of many donors, the corpus has grown to $10 million and has provided nearly $6 million in grants.

College Scholarship

2024-2025 application deadline is March 1 at 5pm.

Please read College Scholarship instructions prior to beginning your application.

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact scholarships@stjohns-salisbury.org to confirm submission.

Endowment Grant

The Endowment Grant window is now open. Please submit all applications by March 1, 2025 by 5 pm. All other applications will be held until the September 2025 window. Final report is due to the Foundation Committee 1 year following approval.
