Lay Assisting Ministers

Lay Assistants lead the worship community through the worship service, including the creed, prayers of the people and communion.  Assistants normally serve about once every two months, at the 8:30 & 11:00 am services on their assigned Sunday.

Ushers

Assist with worship by greeting worshippers, opening doors, providing bulletins, directions, assisting the hearing impaired, counting attendance, assisting with offering collection and Holy Communion. Teams (men and women) of ushers will serve together for a designated service, normally one Sunday every 10 weeks.

Readers bring the word of God to life for our faith community.  Readers are scheduled 2-3 times a year and for special services.

Communion Assistants

Communion assistants serve wine at communion services, offering the blood of Christ for all at the table.

Faith Sharing

Each week in contemporary worship, we have the opportunity to hear a story of how God is active in the lives our community.  Have something to share?  We’d love to work with you to share it in worship.

Communion Assistants

Communion assistants serve this life-giving meal by intinction (dipping bread into wine) with the community.  Assistants serve several times a year on the first Sunday of the month.
