“The Picture Man,” is scheduled for April 9-10. Author Julia Ebel, a Catawba College alumna, Class of 1972, will talk about the “Picture Men” and their impact in the preservation of local and family history.
Julia will be speaking to adults Tuesday, April 9, 10-11:30 am, and to children and their parents Wednesday, April 10, 10-11 am. She will be available for book signings before and after each presentation. Her books, including The Picture Man and its study guide, will be available for purchase. All are encouraged to bring old photos and reminisce about your family pictures and how they were taken. Author Julia Ebel will talk about how to preserve your stories.
Both days are free and open to members of the Rowan-Salisbury community, so be sure to invite friends to attend.
Seniors are invited to head over to the fellowship hall after for the Senior Seasons Spring Gathering for lunch and entertainment.
