1st Family Christmas Night was a great success

What do 160 people, 40 pizzas, a host of angels and one very spirited donkey have in common?

Our first Family Christmas Night on Dec. 17! Taking the place of a traditional Christmas pageant, the event featured a fun and exciting retelling of the Christmas story — with full audience participation of stars, angels, shepherds, barnyard animals and more.

“We wanted to have something that was a little bit different this year,” says Kimberly Lentz, Children’s Ministry Coordinator, “and I think we accomplished just that. Our families had a delightful evening in a relaxed setting, and we all had a bunch of fun participating in the retelling of the Christmas story.”
